2006 - Global Marijuana Music Awards "2006 was a blazing year for the Marijuana Music Awards. This year the event was held in London, in the UK. All entrants were of an exceptionally high standard and all had one thing in common, The Herb! Even the council's ban of the UK Hemp Expo, the venue of the GMMA, couldn't slow the growth of the MMA popularity! The Global Marijuana Music Awards had 223 entries from 7 countries including US, UK, Australia, Holland, India, Austria & Germany. Music styles ranged from Punk Rock to Texas Country Music, from Chicago Gangster Rap to Calypso from India.

2005 - Global Marijuana Music Awards "This years Global Marijuana Music Awards will play host to American and Australian artists at the Rainbow Cafe, Nimbin on 30 April and 1 May 2005 during Nimbin's Mardi Grass. The international line up traveling to Australia for this event includes the popular American rap group, the Herbillests from Philadelphia, USA and Rich Hardesty from Indiana, USA. A one-off opportunity to experience these performers! Also performing are the 2004 Marijuana Music Awards winners from Australia Doug Johnson and Herb Superb. Closing the event is the dynamic Assyrian Band from Sydney, Azadoota".
